ArtDesk

I recently came across Issue 01 of ArtDesk at Barnes and Noble. It is a support publication for the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, Marfa Contemporary and Green Box Arts Festival. The publication is beautifully designed and well-worth flipping through (print or digital). Part of their core mission is to promote awareness of the importance of having strong arts education in regions outside of the major art capitals. In their own words:

"At ArtDesk, we believe wholeheartedly in the power of art to enhance and transform lives. We promise to search the world for the best creators and brightest contributors. We love regionalism, community arts, and arts education for people of all ages. ArtDesk's form and content are designed to reveal how profoundly relevant the most exciting artists of this era are to your life. We are dedicated to the work of our timecontemporary, than isand committed to cultivated a showcase that celebrates and nurtures the arts and artists of today."
